How much does a training session cost?
Fees for CMA's training programs vary depending on several things, such as the number of people to be trained and whether the training would require a half-day or full-day program. We also offer the option of on-going training packages. That's why we will first want to discuss your particular needs and goals. Based on that, we will develop the best training option to meet your objectives.
On-going training packages? Why would someone book more than one session?
Whether learning to play golf, the piano, taking up a new language, or learning media interview and public speaking skills, follow-up practice and coaching ensures better results.
To develop the highest level of skills for media interviews, presentations, and speeches, many clients who are in the public spotlight regularly, arrange for on-going coaching to fine-tune their abilities after our initial session together.
Another reason is many companies with large workforces want different departments to benefit from our training programs. By scheduling multiple sessions at one time, clients benefit with a cost savings.
Where do you conduct training sessions?
Your time is valuable and Carmie McCook & Associates knows how nonproductive travel time can be. Therefore, we most often conduct training sessions on your site or on a site selected by you.
However, if you prefer to leave the confines of your offices, we can conduct training sessions in our facilities in Washington, DC.
How many people do you train at one time?
We conduct training sessions for individuals, small groups, and large groups. For the best return on your investment in communication training, we recommend no more than four or five participants per instructor in a session. This allows the instructor to spend quality time with each participant and offer individual coaching to address his or her unique needs and goals.
However, if your goal is to provide a comprehensive overview of the techniques and skills necessary for effective media interviews, presentations, speeches, or crisis communications, we also offer training programs for very large groups at national conferences and business meetings.
Do you conduct workshops open to the public?
No. CMA's training programs are so successful because they are completely customized to address each client's specific needs. When you train with Carmie McCook & Associates, every aspect of our time together precisely targets your unique requirements, communication topics, and goals.
Do you train people with no prior public speaking or media interview experience?
Yes. Our client base includes entry-level employees to C suite executives.
